Worst. Week. Ever.

I'm going to cut to the chase because I have the entire story written on CaringBridge (link below) but our youngest son Sawyer was diagnosed with Stage 3/4 (undetermined) Burkitt's Lymphoma last week.

It has been a nightmare, a total shock and unreal. Please join us in fighting this battle, that no 8 year old should have to take part in. #Sawyerswarriors

Our family is very similar to yours, we're pretty sure.

We love each other. We love our children. We want them to grow into responsible, healthy, empathetic adults. We do chores. We attend school functions. We coach our kid's teams. We hangout with friends. We go to the movies. We make sure our kids read everyday, even during the summers. We go on vacations. We cuddle.

We know our family is Awesome. . . . just like yours!
